The fifth annual Catwalk for a Cause spring fashion show and benefit auction will be held on Wednesday evening May 14, 2014 from 6-10pm, at Merinos Home Furnishings Center, in downtown Mooresville. The event supports the Martin Truex Jr. Special Needs Fund at Levine Children’s Hospital, assisting patients and families of children being treated for cancer.
More than 500 guests at last year’s Catwalk raised just under $100,000 and this year’s goal is to beat that. Tickets are available at: www.martintruexjrfoundation.org/catwalk.
The event includes a silent auction with classes, summer camps, a guitar, a winery package and more.
The Martin Truex Jr. Foundation was founded in 2007 by NASCAR driver Martin Truex Jr. and wife Sherry has raised more than $1 million for initiatives benefiting children in need, including three major areas of focus: Illnesses and Disabilities, Hunger, Homelessness, Abuse and Neglect.
